In June 2006 Nixon Equine Vets officially opened the doors to its brand new equine performance assessment clinic. Built on the site of the original equine veterinary clinic at Maids Moreton, the new equine veterinary clinic ensures that Nixon Equine Vets have the best possible facilities from which to practice and care for every type of horse and pony, whilst combining flexible service with real value for our clients.
Equine diagnosis and treatment facilities
An experienced equine veterinary surgeon is always on duty from the equine clinic, which provides facilities for the assessment and treatment of equine in-patients and out-patients, optimal diagnostic equipment, techniques and special treatments in purpose-built rooms and on various exercise surfaces. The latest equipment and support for computerised digital imaging includes X-Ray, Ultrasound, Equinalysis, Thermography, Endoscopy and Gastroscopy.
