24-hour equine veterinary emergencies 01280 813258
- Experienced equine veterinary surgeons are available Monday to Saturday 8.00 to 9.00am to discuss client cases on 4 incoming lines, or outwith these hours on an ad-hoc basis. Nixon Equine provide a 24 hour 365 day a year equine veterinary emergency call-out service. An equine veterinary surgeon is always on duty from the equine clinic and in case of emergency out of hours can still be contacted on 01280 813258.

Equine performance related referrals from outside our local area
- We accept performance related equine referrals from greater than 30 miles away and more locally on a strictly professional ethical basis; the RCVS considering this practice to be qualified both in terms of professional expertise and facilities as a Centre of Excellence and a Referral Centre in this field.
- Please note we only provide veterinary care for equines; we do not treat any other species. We redirect local small animal cases to Windmill Veterinary Centre in Buckingham on 01280 822001 and farm animals to Towcester Veterinary Centre on 01327 350239.
