From time to time the Nixon Equine Vets have job vacancies for suitably qualified persons. All staff, both equine veterinary surgeons and equine clinic support staff, receive appropriate and ongoing training, enabling the practice to offer a comprehensive service incorporating the latest research and knowledge and the most up-to-date procedures and techniques over many aspects of modern equine veterinary disciplines, including diagnosis and performance assessment, treatment and consultancy.

Nixon Equine works closely with complementary equine disciplines e.g. farriery, equine dentistry, physiotherapy and equine nutrition, enabling the practice to adopt a holistic approach to the total welfare of the horse, benefiting both horses and their owners.

Office / Equine Veterinary Practice Manager

A rare opportunity has arisen for a sharp, resourceful administrator to take responsibility for the general management of the Nixon Equine Veterinary practice; a well respected and expanding practice near Buckingham.

Working closely with 5 equine veterinary surgeons and managing a support team of full / part time staff, you will have a good knowledge of horses, confident communication skills and well developed IT / administrative skills. Enthusiasm, with the ability to contribute proactively to the ongoing marketing of the business are essential qualities, together with attention to detail and high standards of professionalism.

Full training will be given, together with the opportunity for further training.

Salary to £25,000.
